Hasegawa HAS08078 1/32 Ki-61 Type 3 Fighter Hien “Tony” Type I WWII  

Hasegawa nicely tooled model of the Ox type HEI HIEN “Tony”. 

Highlights include the density of the sculpture, which is suitable for 1/32 scale, and the reproduction of the cockpit, which consists of many parts.

The familiar large girder parts are used for the mounting parts of the main wing and fuselage, so reliable positioning is possible. There are two types of canopies:

A. One-piece type for the closed state and

B. Three-part type for the open state.

One figure in a seated posture is included.
Two types of head parts are available, with and without an oxygen mask.
The decals are the 244th Squadron, Squadron Commander Captain Teruhiko Kobayashi "295" (Chofu Airfield: January 1945) and two other types.
