Kfz.1003t crane truck has been deployed to the German maintenance company Kfz.100 mostly used for installation and the replacement of the engine retrofit and main guns of various types of tanks including Tiger I, panzer III, Panzer IV class lifting is was possible. In addition, it is equipped with a towing brace, and such are also used to tow recovery of the stalled vehicle.
