This is a perfect 1/32 scale model of the Nakajima Ki-44 Type 2 Single-Seat Fighter.
“The linchpin of the Imperial City Air Defense” The “Shoki” or the Ancient Asian “Ghost Buster” was developed as a heavy fighter with an emphasis on short hit-and-run tactics. The plane is designed as a localized fighter with short cruising range. It was used in mainland air defense battles and became the “linchpin” of the Imperial City Air Defense.
The design emphasis on ease of assembly with accurate aircraft shape and size. The one piece molded bottom wings and landing gear well is molded in one piece to enable fit to the fuselage seamlessly.
The butterfly-type air combat flaps, which are an iconic feature of this aircraft, can also be assembled in up, or lowered position.
Option use of Drop tank and ordinances pylons are included.
