Hasegawa HAS-00450 (D20) 1/72 Kyushu J7W1 18-Shinden 

Recently seen in the 2023 Netflix movie, “Godzilla Minus One”.

The unusual looking Shinden made its maiden flight on August 3, 1945, at the end of World War II and the Pacific War, at Kyushu's Hasuda Airfield.

This aircraft has a very unusual shape, with the main wing at the back and a small wing in front, usually called the horizontal stabilizer.

The engine is located at the rear of the fuselage, and the propeller is mounted backwards.

This method, called the canard design wing, can increase accuracy by equipping a machine gun in the center of the fuselage because there is no propeller in the nose.

In addition, the lines of the aircraft are smoother, and high speeds can be achieved.
